Universal Auto Trimmers

The Machine Design:

All the sheet metal components which are deep drawn in a Press require cutting off / removal of flash or scrap. This operation is quickly and most economically done in one single pass effortlessly between two cutters by Universal Auto Trimmers, when compared to huge Trimming Dies & Presses and associated costs.

The components can be of any shape and size - round, elliptical or any odd cross sections. The pressing may or not have end flanges after deep draw, i.e. the end portion of drawings is at right angles or straight drawn. Universal Auto Trimmers are suitable for trimming, beading, joggling and forming of any size and shape of components whether they are straight drawn or the scrap is at right angle. The diagonal length is no bar.

The machines are designed with the latest technology available in the sheet metal cutting line. The two cutter shafts are driven by a unique differential speed gear system and the relatives speeds of each cutter is automatically adjusted in proportion to its cutter diameter, thus eliminating dragging and wearing out feature which is usually associated with conventional machines. The cutter shafts move in and out in a rigid slide and are driven by hydraulic system. The component is trimmed / formed by the cutters, while being driven by differential gear box & motor. Suitable holders shall be provided for individual components. Universal Auto Trimmers are manufactured for Trimming / beeding / joggling operations up to 5mm thickness of sheets in mild steel, the diagonal length being no bar. Machines are supplied with complete electricals & push button controls so that even unskilled workers can handle the machines.

Vertical Auto Trimmer

We manufacture Vertical Auto Trimmers for Trimming, Joggling & Beeding Operations for Cylindrical Shells & components - in two types Single Head & Twin Head.

The Holders are expandable type and hold the shell from inside very rigidly.

Job Clamping is done by Pneumatic Cylinders and Trimming / Joggling / Beeding Operation is done by Hydraulic Cylinder.

We provide heavy duty gear drive is to the cutter shaft.
