Straight sided Multipoint Crankless Press

Salient Technical Features

Frame : The Frame is of Four Part welded Construction with heavy duty rolled steel plates of fusion welding quality and is connected by four Tie Rods. All the parts are fully stress relieved and the deflection shall be well with in design parameters.

Slide : The slide is rolled steel plate welded construction with heavy members. It is fully stress relieved and is machined for close tolerances. Slide is guided fully through-out the stroke length with & point guide way system with adjustment from all 8 points. Liners of non-metallic phenolic material are provided and are replaceable. In addition, plunger guides are provided for accurate guiding of the slide for maintaining close clearances between punch & die resulting in quality product out put and increased tool life as option. Slide adjustment is provided by motorized screw adjustment.

Clutch & Brakes: Pneumatic Friction minimum inertia clutch & Brake system is provided for preventing overloads on motor and slides and stopping of slide at desired position. Dual safety control valves are provided for safety operations.

Counter Balancing: The slide is counter balanced with pneumatic cylinders of suitable capacity for ease in slide adjustment and for preloading of bearing in the direction of load there by extending the life of bearings.

Drive : The drive is through flywheel, pneumatic clutch & Brake with hardened tooth gearing, Multipoint Suspension is provided depending upon the slide area.

Lubrication: A centralised oil lubrication system is provided for supply of Lubricant to all important points with a presettable controls & with on and off delays.

Overload Protection: Hydraulic overload protection is provided for complete safety of tooling and slides. Pressing force can be preselected & set. Over load sensing & Pressure relief is instantanious.

Safety : Suitable safety guards are provided for motor flywheel. Two hand push button operation is provided.

Electronic safety guard is provided as optional.

Plunger Guiding: The Slide is guided by plunger guides in addition to 8 point side jibs, there by eleminating lateral thrust resulting in increasing of line plate and accurate & smooth movement.

Bolster: As an option we offer moving Bolster design with collapsable wheels.

Straight sided multipoint crankless press

Cross Shaft Gap Frame Presses & Standard Gap Frame Presses

Salient Technical Features: Redson's Cross Shaft Gap Frame Presses are developed for General Engineering Industry for Stamping, Blanking, Forging and Metal work operations. Steel Body Fabricated Structure with rugged construction ensures extra rigidness, minimal defection and long tool life.

Frame & Ram: Main Frame & Rams are fabricated out of fusion welding quality rolled steel plates with Heavy Duty Steel Plate members. They are designed for minimal deflection even under severe load conditions. The structures are fully stress relieved by thermal heating & machined for close tolerances in our modern machine shops.

Drive: The presses are manufactured as single/double geared as per requirement of strokes. The gear train is totally enclosed and run in oil. Fly wheel is mounted on anti-friction roller bearings. The main shaft run in phosphor bronze bushes. The shafts and bushes are hand-scrapped for close running tolerances.

Ram: The ram is machined for Close tolerances and run is extra long guide ways. The guide ways are ground and hand scraped for proper alignment. The guide clearances are adjustable.

The ball seat is manufactured out of phosphor bronze material and is hand scrapped for aligning with ball screw.

Break pads are provided for over load safety. We also provide hydraulic over load safety with dump vaives a tyagulle control as optional.

Stroke & Ram Adjustment: The stroke is adjustable easily in the given stroke adjustment parameter. The rat. adjustment is done manually for smaller presses and by motorized adjustment for heavier presses.

Control Panel : We provide a control panel with Push Button Operation & with Foot Pedal Operation.
